A teenager with a twin bed and a bed for two in her bedroom died Saturday, according to the Maryland Medical Examiner’s Office.
Amber Taylor, 19, of Silver Spring, Md., died at the hospital after complications from a severe infection, officials said.
She had been in critical condition since March 15, when she was transferred from St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Bethesda to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
She was the daughter of a firefighter who died when a helicopter crashed into a residential neighborhood in Fairfax, Md.
In August, Taylor was discharged from St Elizabeths.
She was married and the mother of two children.
